Back To NYC

We have been away from the city for almost 2 years but now it looks like we might be moving back part time. The apartment water leak has been fixed for the third time. It only took 2 years to get accomplished. We had booked tickets to Turandot at the Met Opera 6 months prior and combined the weekend with coming back to get the apartment back in order. Saturday, was about getting the apartment back together and letting the cats adjust to it. Turandot was absolutely incredible and the Met is one of my favorite things to do in the city. Sunday, we took a long walk and did Little Island for the first time which was very pretty but very crowded. We also wanted to see some of the new updates to the High Line Park and the gardens looked kind of haggard but all the new architecture sprouting up around it is pretty amazing. Afterwards, we went for a nice lunch at one of our favorite local restaurants - Haru on 43rd St. We had a long delicioius lunch which included Lee chee martinis of course. Good to be back.
