Happy Birthday Karen

Karen Rogers is my lifeboat partner. We have known each other since high school and have been friends forever. She came up to the city to celebrate her birthday and we had an awesome time. John L's for pizza, The Manet/Degas exhibit at the Met, the Sex Museum, dinner at Becco, tickets to see Book of Mormon, drinks at Don't Tell Mama, cookies from Schmackerys, breakfast at Westway, Staten Island Ferry ride, chines food on 46th St. A trip to historic downtown NY. It was an awesome weekend. Happy Birthday Babe.

Happy Birthday John!

It was Tim's Dads birthday and a group of us collected at the farm to celebrate. Grilled burgers and steak and a beautiful day and fun with family. It was a lovely day seeing everyone and celebrating John's special day.

9/11 Anniversary 22 Years

22 years have come and gone and this memory still holds so much power and loss for me. For the first time, I was in the city and the sky was clear to be able to see the memorial lights shining in the sky. So beautiful and so sad.

Another market another show. So much work and so much craziness but its over and went well. And done.

Delhi Diner

I love this little hole in the wall place in Delhi. The food is always good and its quite and unassuming. Great for breakfast and lunch. Especially love the grilled cheese on peasant bread special on Fridays and a side of fries. Yum.

New Portrait Wall

Not anything new just got bored and wanted to feature some paintings and drawings that we owned. I love portrait walls - whether they are vintage or salon classic - its always interesting to look at. We had a mix of vintage, drawings from french flea markets and up they went. We don't have a lot of wall space available in the house but this was a small wall in our living room and it looked great. And done.

NYC Apt Issues

There seems to be always water problems in our apartment in the city. Tim had to go down to take care of a pipe problem in our closet and our neighbors kitchen cabinets that backed up to each other. Annoying always but it got resolved quickly.
