Birds-a-Poppin

Summer is here and there are plenty of bird nests everywhere. Our typical wren adn swallows are in their respective houses as usual. However, this year we have a couple new families here. A beautiful bluebird is nesting in the center birdhouse in the garden, there is a catbird nesting in the juniper bush below our bedroom window and a strange tufted bird built a nest in our back porch right over the storm door and resides there. The catbird had these beautiful teal blue eggs and the babies hatched this week. We also have new hummingbirds and a family of river otters are living in our pond. Nature all around us.
