Bovina Dairymen

We had our first home game for the Bovina Dairymen. They played in Creamery Field and we brought chairs and food and drinks and watched the game. Such a great relaxing afternoon of vintage baseball playing.

Birthday Weekend in NYC

Nice long weekend in the city to celebrate my birthday as well as our friend, Mary who flew in from Chicago along with her sister, Jean and her two children - Ana and Paige. Dinners at Tacuba on 9th, a wonderful dinner at Frena and pizza at John L's. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza and we had lovely views of the West Side. You could see both my apartment on 49th and our apartment on 45th. Frena was pure pleasure - one of those amazing dinner experiences. The chef used to work at Taboon which burned down during Covid but was rebuilt in its new incarnation as Frena. Mary, Tim and I went to see the Wiz - so many amazing singers. A trip to Moma and wandering through Times Square looking at a confetti shooting hot dog. Breakfasts's at Friedmans - really good food.

Briarcliffe Annual Congregational Rummage Sale

It is that time of year again. Lots of hard work goes into this event all for the benefit of raising money for the church. We love working the event. There are so many awesome people at the church and it's a lot of fun. Collecting, pricing, organizing, selling, loading, wrangling. All hard work but loads of fun. Go Team Rummage!

Briarcliffe Weekend

This was the annual April Rummage Sale weekend for Tim's parent's church - Briarcliffe Congregational. We have been doing this for a decade or so - going down to help move product for the benefit of the church. It is a lot of fun and we love working with the awesome group of people at the church. It was a beautiful spring morning and I took a cup of coffee out and walked around Tim's parent's house. It is so lovely especially in Spring. Tim's parents are retired botanists and they beautiful gardens. The house was the caretakers cottage at the old Macy's estate. I love spending time here with Tim and his family. We worked at the rummage sale and then picked up chinese food and had a little birthday celebration for Tim's Mom. Lovely day.
