Klimt

Tim's sister decided to coordinate a family get together to go see an immersive art show called Klimt in the city. We all met downtown at this beautiful old bank and saw the show. It was beautiful and amazing. The photography in the space combined with the beautiful selection of opera arias was lovely. Afterwards, we went and had lunch at this upscale food court. It was such a nice day with family and beauty.

Peonies

We have been catching up with gardening for weeks and it is nice to see some of the early flowers show up. The peonies are really pretty this year.

Hamilton

It was Tim's mother's birthday and she wanted to come into the city and see a show. She selected Hamilton and we got tickets for the group of us and Tim drove down into the city with her so we could have a nice lunch beforehand. We picked our favorite neighborhood restaurant, Marseille and had a very nice lunch. We took his mom on a tour of the roof top because she hadn't seen it since it had been renovated. Tim's family showed up and we went to see the show. It was awesome. We had so much fun. Lovely day.

Memorial Day

It was such a funny and busy weekend. We started the weekend with a fast but hardy dinner with chili dogs, tator tots, baked beans and potato salad ending with ice cream cream soda. So good. We had dinner with friends a couple nights and had such a good time. We got the pool up which is always a major undertaking. Tim made the most delicious dinner on Monday with grilled garlic chicken enhanced with paprika butter, grilled potatoes with mustard scallion vinaigrette, and sour cream cucumber salad. It was so good.

A Visit with Robert and Harold

This conversation got started last October with a group of my college friends that all landed in NYC post college. It was great seeing each other. Robert is one of my best friends from college - he was like my older brother in school. We both told each other that we had to get together and we set a date and did it. Robert and Harold allowed me to stay with them when I was first interviewing in NYC for a job. Our relationship seems so comfortable and solid and trusting and I think that is why I love him so much. We had such an awesome weekend with the two of them. We have to do this again.
