Briarcliffe Annual Congregational Rummage Sale

It is that time of year again. Lots of hard work goes into this event all for the benefit of raising money for the church. We love working the event. There are so many awesome people at the church and it's a lot of fun. Collecting, pricing, organizing, selling, loading, wrangling. All hard work but loads of fun. Go Team Rummage!

Briarcliffe Weekend

This was the annual April Rummage Sale weekend for Tim's parent's church - Briarcliffe Congregational. We have been doing this for a decade or so - going down to help move product for the benefit of the church. It is a lot of fun and we love working with the awesome group of people at the church. It was a beautiful spring morning and I took a cup of coffee out and walked around Tim's parent's house. It is so lovely especially in Spring. Tim's parents are retired botanists and they beautiful gardens. The house was the caretakers cottage at the old Macy's estate. I love spending time here with Tim and his family. We worked at the rummage sale and then picked up chinese food and had a little birthday celebration for Tim's Mom. Lovely day.

Seed Starting Season

Despite the move, we managed to carve out some time to start seeds for the summer. Dahlias, sweet pea, hollyhocks, nasturtiums, morningglory, moon flower and lots of other things. So much fun on a quiet wet spring day to have this space and time to do this. Looking forward to Spring. Plants coming up already after one week.
